Line Design

Alpha Engineering, Inc (AEI) specializes in providing complete line design for transmission, distribution, and fiber optic projects. AEI has developed its own in-house staking sheet program, AlphaStake©. AlphaStake© generates printouts of poles that will remain, be installed, be transferred, or be removed. A unit recap is also generated to summarize the total number of units installed, removed, or transferred. Furthermore, a material recap is also generated, with specifics such as quantities, connector sizes, and bolt lengths. The material list can be customized to use specific manufacturers and catalog information.

AEI also uses PLS-CADD^TM for transmission projects. PLS-CADD^TM allows for 3D terrain and line modeling, automatic plan and profile sheets, incorporation of aerial photography, and compatibility with CAD systems.
